Common use of Form of Compensation Clause in Contracts

Form of Compensation. The employee may receive payment as compensation for overtime or shall be compensated with time off at one and one-half (1-½) times the regular rate. Compensatory time shall not accrue beyond forty (40) hours. Compensatory time off shall be taken by mutual consent and as approved by the direct supervisor consistent with the needs of the City.
