Formal Stage. a) If the Occasional Teacher is not satisfied with the decision regarding the complaint then the Union may within ten (10) days take the matter up as a grievance in the following manner and sequence: b) Step 1 1) a description of how the alleged dispute is in violation of the Agreement; 2) a statement of the facts to support such grievance, including the specific Article(s) violated; 3) the remedy sought; and 4) the signature of the President of the Union or designate. Notwithstanding the above and where the Union and the Board agree that it is appropriate, a grievance may proceed directly to Step 2, Step 3, or Step 4.
