Formal written notification. Where there are no apparent redeployment opportunities and the redundancy is to proceed, the officer will be formally advised in writing. This notification will detail the various options in terms of the timing of termination and the relevant benefits the officer may elect to receive on retrenchment. This notification shall provide formal notice of five weeks which will commence four weeks from the date of the formal written notification.
