FOUNDATION COURSES. All applicants must complete certain foundation course requirements, as designated in this articulation agreement, prior to their MBA program at California State University, Hayward. Students who are currently enrolled in Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences must these approved courses in order to complete the foundation courses as part of their undergraduate program prior to the start of their MBA work. The foundation requirements include satisfactory coverage of material in the following areas listed below. Specific course(s) needed for meeting each foundation area requirement are listed below. - accounting (US based), - financial reporting, analysis, and markets, - macro and micro economic theory - marketing - production and operations management - human behavior in organizations, - written and oral communication in English, - quantitative analysis (statistics and mathematics with business applications), and - computer information systems. A student who has met all of the above requirements will have twelve courses remaining, and can thus complete his/her MBA program in one year by taking three courses per quarter. The following list of courses indicates the courses that must be taken at Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences as satisfying the foundation requirements for the CSUH Accelerated MBA Program Course #1 : Basic Accounting and Balances Course # 17: Advanced Accounting Course # 10: Data Processing Course # 4 & #5: Macro and Micro Economics Course # 7: Financial Management Course #2 and #3: Business Mathematics and Statistics Course #9: Materials and Production Management Course #11: Organization Course # 6: Marketing The Accelerated MBA Program at California State University, Xxxxxxx builds on the student's knowledge base gained through his or her foundation courses. The Accelerated MBA Program consists of 49 quarter hours of study at the graduate level. The program includes four Advanced Core courses, seven option courses, and a capstone exercise course. The Advance Core and capstone requirements includes the following courses: Business and Society Quantitative Business Methods Interpersonal Skills course Financial Management Strategic Management (capstone course) The remaining twenty-eight units (seven courses) consist of option courses and electives that may be chosen to pursue one of the many specializations offered.
