Fractional Days Clause Samples

The Fractional Days clause defines how periods of time that do not constitute a whole day are calculated and treated under the agreement. Typically, this clause specifies that any part of a day is counted as a full day for the purposes of deadlines, interest calculations, or other time-based obligations. For example, if a payment is due in 10 days and the event triggering the deadline occurs at 3:00 PM, the remaining hours of that day may be counted as a full day. This clause ensures consistency and clarity in time calculations, preventing disputes over partial days and streamlining the administration of contractual timelines.
