Lieu days definition

Lieu days where an employee is granted a lieu day pursuant to Clauses 17.3 or 17.4, the time off granted will be eight (8) hours per lieu day for a full-time employee and prorated for a part-time employee.

Lieu days. Where an employee is granted a lieu day pursuant to Clause 17.3, the time off granted per lieu day will be equivalent to the regularly-scheduled shift in effect at the time.

Examples of Lieu days in a sentence

  • Lieu days arising from designated paid holidays shall be scheduled with the mutual agreement of the Employer subject to operational requirements.

  • Lieu days earned pursuant to this clause shall be scheduled by mutual agreement.

  • Lieu days off will be granted to the full-time employee within thirty (30) days of the date on which the holiday was observed, and will be taken on a day mutually agreed upon between the employee and the nursing department.

  • Payment month means, for all programs except EA, the calendar month for which benefits are issued.

  • 24 hours means a period of 24 hours including all or part of a day upon which banks are open for business in both the place where the relevant meeting is to be held and in each of the places where the Paying Agents have their specified offices (disregarding for this purpose the day upon which such meeting is to be held) and such period shall be extended by one period or, to the extent necessary, more periods of 24 hours until there is included as aforesaid all or part of a day upon which banks are open for business in all of the places as aforesaid; and

  • Week means seven consecutive days.

  • Observation Shift Days means the number of London Banking Days specified in the relevant Final Terms; and

  • 48 hours means 2 consecutive periods of 24 hours.
