Personal Days definition

Personal Days year” means the annual period from July 1 of each year to June 30 of the following year. For the period between August 15, 2016 and June 30, 2017, employees shall refer to the terms and conditions as set out in Appendix P.

• Effective January 1, 2011, when an employee is unable to perform her duties or any available work due to illness or injury and has exhausted her Personal Days and short term disability benefits, the Corporation, at its discretion, may grant leave of absence without pay.

If July 4th falls on a Tuesday, the previous Monday shall be a holiday, while if July 4th falls on a Thursday, the subsequent Friday shall be a holiday.
