Snow Days definition

Snow Days. With the exception of the number of days provided by the State, scheduled days of student instruction which are not held because of conditions not within the control of school authorities (such as inclement weather, fire, epidemics, mechanical break downs, or health conditions as defined by the city, county, or state health authorities) will be rescheduled during the school year, or when needed at the end of the school year to insure that the number of instructional days as negotiated between the board and the association, minus the number of days that are not required by law to be rescheduled are met.
Snow Days. The Administrator is expected to work unless excused by the Superintendent because of the severity of the storm.
Snow Days. Full year employees will be expected to report on days when school is closed or delayed due to inclement weather. Bus drivers will not report to work on days when school is not in session due to inclement weather and will not be paid. They will be required to report on makeup days and will be paid their normal rate for all hours worked.
