Fraud and Scams. On-chain cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Criminals may attempt to exploit this feature of cryptocurrency transactions through various fraud and scam schemes. You should be wary of any third-party who contacts you and instructs that you deliver cryptocurrencies, credit card details, or Account details to them for any purpose. Common schemes include fraudulent customer and technical support personnel impersonating Zero Hash, ZHLS, Business, or any other third-party through which you hold an account, contacting you and asking for you to verify a credit card or account number. These scammers may “spoof” legitimate phone numbers and may sound very convincing. Zero Hash and XXXX will never contact you to initiate a cryptocurrency transaction to any external wallet address not provided by you through the Platform or Zero Hash System, as applicable to your use of the Services. Scammers may also attempt to exploit social media by offering illegitimate and fraudulent “crypto giveaways” or “investment opportunities” that ultimately seek your Account login credentials or other private information that can be used to compromise your Account. Additionally, criminals may contact you via email in order to entice you to download a malicious attachment or to enter your Account login credentials to a spoofed webpage. You should never share your Account credentials or login information with anyone.

Fraud and Scams. 6.1. Advertiser or Partner is expressly prohibited from using any persons, means, devices, or arrangements to commit fraud, violate any applicable law, interfere with other Advertiser or Partners, or falsify information in connection with referrals through the Offers or the generation of Commissions or exceed Advertiser’s or Partner’s permitted access to the Platform. Such acts include, but are in no way limited to, using automated means to increase the number of clicks through the Offers’ links or completion of any required information, using spyware, using stealware, cookie-stuffing, and other deceptive acts or click-fraud. Network expressly prohibits using any hosting proxy/VPN or any other unacceptable tools and techniques by Advertiser or Partner or a third party related to Advertiser or Partner directly or indirectly and reserves the right to immediately decline and not to pay for all and any leads generated via hosting proxy/VPN or any other unacceptable tools and techniques used by Advertiser or Partner or third parties related to Advertiser or Partner directly or indirectly. Network shall make all determinations about fraudulent activity at its sole discretion. Partner will not fraudulently add leads or clicks or inflate leads or clicks by fraudulent\scams traffic generation. Network has a right to decline and not to pay for leads generated via hosting proxy / VPN and other unacceptable tools and techniques, detected by its own, or of 3rd parties, anti-fraud systems. Any fraud, attempted or actual, shall be immediate grounds for Network to terminate Advertiser or Partner’s account and withhold any and all sums outstanding to Partner.

  • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Contractor understands that HHS does not tolerate any type of fraud, waste, or abuse. Violations of law, agency policies, or standards of ethical conduct will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken. Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 321.022, if the administrative head of a department or entity that is subject to audit by the state auditor has reasonable cause to believe that money received from the state by the department or entity or by a client or contractor of the department or entity may have been lost, misappropriated, or misused, or that other fraudulent or unlawful conduct has occurred in relation to the operation of the department or entity, the administrative head shall report the reason and basis for the belief to the Texas State Auditor’s Office (SAO). All employees or contractors who have reasonable cause to believe that fraud, waste, or abuse has occurred (including misconduct by any HHS employee, Grantee officer, agent, employee, or subcontractor that would constitute fraud, waste, or abuse) are required to immediately report the questioned activity to the Health and Human Services Commission's Office of Inspector General. Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and System Agency policies regarding fraud, waste, and abuse including, but not limited to, HHS Circular C-027.   • PREVENTION OF FRAUD AND XXXXXXX The Supplier represents and warrants that neither it, nor to the best of its knowledge any Supplier Personnel, have at any time prior to the Commencement Date: committed a Prohibited Act or been formally notified that it is subject to an investigation or prosecution which relates to an alleged Prohibited Act; and/or been listed by any government department or agency as being debarred, suspended, proposed for suspension or debarment, or otherwise ineligible for participation in government procurement programmes or contracts on the grounds of a Prohibited Act. The Supplier shall not during the Term: commit a Prohibited Act; and/or do or suffer anything to be done which would cause the Customer or any of the Customer’s employees, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors or agents to contravene any of the Relevant Requirements or otherwise incur any liability in relation to the Relevant Requirements. The Supplier shall during the Term: establish, maintain and enforce, and require that its Sub-Contractors establish, maintain and enforce, policies and procedures which are adequate to ensure compliance with the Relevant Requirements and prevent the occurrence of a Prohibited Act; keep appropriate records of its compliance with its obligations under Clause 14.3.1 and make such records available to the Customer on request; if so required by the Customer, within twenty (20) Working Days of the Commencement Date, and annually thereafter, certify to the Customer in writing that the Supplier and all persons associated with it or its Sub-Contractors or other persons who are supplying the Ordered Panel Services in connection with this Legal Services Contract are compliant with the Relevant Requirements. The Supplier shall provide such supporting evidence of compliance as the Customer may reasonably request; and have, maintain and where appropriate enforce an anti-bribery policy (which shall be disclosed to the Customer on request) to prevent it and any Supplier Personnel or any person acting on the Supplier's behalf from committing a Prohibited Act. The Supplier shall immediately notify the Customer in writing if it becomes aware of any breach of Clause 14.1, or has reason to believe that it has or any of the Supplier Personnel have: been subject to an investigation or prosecution which relates to an alleged Prohibited Act; been listed by any government department or agency as being debarred, suspended, proposed for suspension or debarment, or otherwise ineligible for participation in government procurement programmes or contracts on the grounds of a Prohibited Act; and/or received a request or demand for any undue financial or other advantage of any kind in connection with the performance of this Legal Services Contract or otherwise suspects that any person or Party directly or indirectly connected with this Legal Services Contract has committed or attempted to commit a Prohibited Act. If the Supplier makes a notification to the Customer pursuant to Clause 14.4, the Supplier shall respond promptly to the Customer's enquiries, co-operate with any investigation, and allow the Customer to audit any books, records and/or any other relevant documentation. If the Supplier breaches Clause 14.3, the Customer may by notice: require the Supplier to remove from performance of this Legal Services Contract any Supplier Personnel whose acts or omissions have caused the Supplier’s breach; or immediately terminate this Legal Services Contract. Any notice served by the Customer under Clause 14.4 shall specify the nature of the Prohibited Act, the identity of the Party who the Customer believes has committed the Prohibited Act and the action that the Customer has elected to take (including, where relevant, the date on which this Legal Services Contract shall terminate).
