FRINGE BENEFITS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. The parties hereto agree as follows: A. The JRMS Principal may undertake paid consultative work, speaking engagements, writing, lecturing or other professional duties and obligations provided such activities do not interfere with the meeting of her responsibilities as JRMS Principal. B. The Board encourages the JRMS Principal to continue her professional development (e.g., continued pursuit of her doctoral degree and expects her to participate in relevant learning experiences. The JRMS Principal will be reimbursed $600 per academic credit, for a maximum of 18 credit hours per year for tuition expenses related to her doctoral program. Subject to budgeted appropriations, the JRMS Principal may attend professional meetings at the local, state, and national level, with prior approval of the Superintendent. The expenses for such meetings will be paid by the Board after submission of valid receipts and approval by the Superintendent. C. The Board shall provide the JRMS Principal with fifteen (15) sick days annually, accumulative to 180 days. If this contract expires, or is terminated for any reason, the unused accumulated sick leave shall not be paid to the JRMS Principal. D. The Board shall provide the JRMS Principal with twenty-five (25) vacation days annually, exclusive of legal holidays. The JRMS Principal may carry over a maximum of five (5) unused vacation days with the written approval of the Superintendent, but at no time shall the JRMS Principal be eligible for more than thirty (30) days of vacation during any contract year. In the event that school cancellations result in the removal of school vacation days, the JRMS principal will be able to carry over five (5) days plus the number of days impacted. E. In the event of death, unused and accrued vacation pay up to a maximum of thirty (30) days will be paid to the JRMS Principal’s estate. F. The JRMS Principal shall receive reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses incurred in the performance of her professional duties upon the submission of valid receipts and the approval of the Superintendent. G The JRMS Principal shall receive reimbursement for use of her automobile for professional duties at the current IRS allowable rate. Such use shall not include reimbursement for commuting to and from work. H The Board shall provide standard term life insurance in the amount of three (3) times her annual salary. I. The JRMS Principal shall receive personal, family illness, legal and bereavement leave equivalent to the Xxxxxxx Teachers’ Contract. J. The Board shall provide the JRMS Principal with medical benefits as detailed in the attached Anthem summary of Xxxxxxx administrator Benefits at a Glance document, with the premium share being 19.5% of the allocation rate. K. The JRMS Principal shall receive all benefits and opportunities not specified above at least equal to those offered to members on the certified bargaining unit and as are enumerated in current bargaining unit contracts and policies.

The JRMS Principal Notwithstanding the foregoing, with prior written notification to the Board, the Superintendent may carry over up to 10 vacation days into the next year, provided that the Superintendent may not accumulate more than 10 days in addition to the annual vacation entitlement (i.e. for a maximum of five (5) unused vacation 40 days with in any given year), and that the written approval of carryover days must be used during the Superintendent, but at no time shall the JRMS Principal be eligible for more than thirty (30) days of vacation during any next contract year. In the event that school cancellations result in the removal of school vacation daysaddition, the JRMS principal Superintendent may elect to be paid out for up to eight (8) days of his unused vacation at the end of the fiscal year. Vacation for a partial year of service shall be prorated. Subject to limitations above, upon termination of employment (other than involuntary termination) the Superintendent will be able to carry over five (5) paid for unused vacation days plus at the daily rate of 1/224 of annual salary times the number of days impacted. The Board shall pay reasonable expenses as approved by the Board for the Superintendent to continue professional development and attend professional meetings at the local, state and national level, subject to prior Board approval. H. The Board shall provide the Superintendent with five (5) days of bereavement leave to be utilized for death in the amount of three (3) times her annual salaryhis immediate family. I. The JRMS Principal Board shall receive personalprovide the Superintendent with all necessary technological devices to be utilized as needed to conduct Board business, family illnessincluding but not limited to a cell phone, legal laptop computer and bereavement leave equivalent to the Xxxxxxx Teachers’ ContractIpad/tablet. J. The Board shall provide to the JRMS Principal with medical benefits Superintendent the same health insurance plan, subject to the same cost share contribution, as detailed in the attached Anthem summary of Xxxxxxx administrator Benefits at a Glance document, with the premium share being 19.5% is provided to members of the allocation rateSAA. K. The JRMS Principal Board shall receive all benefits and opportunities not specified above at least equal pay the premium for a long-term disability insurance policy to those compensate the Superintendent in accordance with the policy currently offered to members non-union central office personnel and on file in the certified bargaining unit and Board offices. L. Up to two (2) of the Superintendent’s children may be enrolled in the Stratford Public Schools tuition free so long as are enumerated he is Superintendent of Schools in current bargaining unit contracts and policiesStratford.

The Head of Xxxxxxx administrator Benefits at a Glance document, with School/Assistant Superintendent shall pay the premium share being 19.5% following contributions of the allocation rate.: 18% for the 2016-2017, 19% for 2017-2016, and a % to be determined for 2017-2018 K. The JRMS Principal Board will provide the Head of School/Assistant Superintendent with a long-term disability insurance policy. The monthly benefit is 60% of monthly earnings to a maximum of $1,000 per month. Benefits begin after the expiration of 90 calendar days. . L.
