Common use of Full-time Operators’ Established Work Week Clause in Contracts

Full-time Operators’ Established Work Week. 166. All Full-time Operators shall be entitled to not less than eight (8) hours of work per day and a total of forty (40) hours of work over a five (5) consecutive day period within any seven-day period. This guarantee will apply only if, the Operator reports on time and is available for the Operator’s regularly scheduled run; or in the case of extra board Operators, or Full- time Operators working as extra boards, if the Operator reports on time daily and holds the Operator available for such work as may be assigned to them. The exception to the above guarantee to Full-time Operators is in the event of unusual circumstances wherein no work is available, such as, but not limited to, earthquake, natural disaster, strike, etc.
