Full-time Nurses. The Employer shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the monthly premium for eligible nurses in the Ontario Health Insurance Plan.
Full-time Nurses a. When a regular full-time nurse is required to work on one (1) of the holidays set forth in paragraph A above, he/she shall be paid at the rate of 1- 1/2 times his/her regular straight-time rate and will either have a compensating day off within thirty (30) days or one additional day’s pay in lieu of a compensating day off at the option of the Medical Center, taking into consideration the request of the nurse. b. If one of the above holidays falls on a regular full-time nurse’s day off, he/she will either receive his/her holiday pay or have a compensating day off within thirty (30) days at the option of the Medical Center, taking into consideration the request of the nurse. c. A regular nurse who is regularly scheduled for an average of 72 hours per pay period shall be treated as a regular full-time nurse under this Article.
Full-time Nurses. Nurses who are regularly scheduled to work forty (40) hours within a seven (7) day period or eighty (80) hours within a fourteen (14) day period.
Full-time Nurses. (a) Nurses shall receive annual vacation with pay according to their length of service as set out below. Vacation shall be determined within the current calendar year and shall be taken in the current calendar year subject to Article 11.04 below:
Full-time Nurses. (a) There will be at least sixteen (16) consecutive hours off between shifts. (b) A change to the day shift following the night shift requires at least forty- eight (48) consecutive hours between such changes. (c) Should a nurse work with less than sixteen (16) consecutive hours off or forty-eight (48) consecutive hours off following the night shift as above, the nurse shall be paid in premium payment for all hours worked on the next shift worked. (d) There will be at least sixteen (16) consecutive hours off between shifts. (e) A change to the day shift following the night shift requires at least forty- eight (48) hours between such changes. Should a nurse work with less than sixteen (16) consecutive hours off between shifts or forty-eight (48) consecutive hours off following the night shift as above, the nurse shall be paid in premium payment for all hours worked on the next shift worked. These sixteen (16) hour and forty-eight (48) hour premiums apply to pre- booked time. It is understood that if a part-time nurse is called in and accepts the call in; the premium payment for less than sixteen (16) or forty- eight (48) hours off will not apply. Other premium payment requirements within other terms of the Collective Agreement will continue to apply.
Full-time Nurses. (a) Seniority recognized under the terms of this Agreement for Full-time Nurses shall be counted as full-time active continuous service with the Employer in the bargaining unit from the date of last hire or spent on a leave of absence during which seniority is agreed to accumulate. (b) All Full-time Nurses in the ONA bargaining unit as of the date of the Letter of Understanding Re: Voluntary Recognition for Full-Time Registered Nurses dated August 20, 2008 shall retain all active continuous service with the Employer for all seniority and service purposes under this collective agreement.

Full-time Nurses. For purposes of determining eligibility for continuing education funds (Section 12.6) and certification examination costs (Section 12.7), nurses working 7/70s (70 hours/pay period), 7/40s (80 hours/pay period), 3/12s (72 hours/pay period) as well as 8/80 (80 hours/pay period) shall be considered full-time.
Full-time Nurses. Holiday pay" as referred to in this Article will be computed on the basis of the Nurse's regular straight time hourly rate of pay multiplied by the number of hours in the Nurse's normal daily tour as set out in Article 19.02 (Hours of Work and Working Conditions).
Full-time Nurses. The region will provide a long term disability insurance plan commencing after twenty-six (26) weeks of disability and providing the payment of monthly benefits of sixty-six and two thirds (66 2/3) of the nurse's regular monthly salary. The plan will provide integration with other income including unemployment insurance benefits and a waiting period for new nurses in accordance with all other insurance plans.
