Common use of Function of Joint Health and Safety Committee Clause in Contracts

Function of Joint Health and Safety Committee. The Hospital’s supervisors will investigate all acts and reports of potential/actual violence as defined in P.1 (a) and will take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances to prevent violence from occurring. The JHSC will be provided with the summary of all investigations and the steps to prevent recurrence. The Hospital will respond to all JHSC requests for additional material within 3 business days. The JHSC will be involved in investigations of all critical injuries as defined by the Ministry of Labour (Regulation 834, R.R.O . 1990) and outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act Section 9 (31), Section 51 (1).
