Funding Policy and Investment Guidelines. The Employer shall have the responsibility for establishing and carrying out a funding policy and method, consistent with the objectives of the Plan, taking into consideration the Plans’ short-term and long-term financial needs. It is understood that, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Employer, rather than the Trustee, shall be responsible for the overall diversification of Trust assets.

Funding Policy and Investment Guidelines. The Employer shall have the responsibility for establishing and carrying out a funding policy and method, consistent with the objectives of the Plans, taking into consideration the Plans' short-term and long-term financial needs. The Trustee's responsibility for investment and diversification of the assets in the portion of the Trust for which the Trustee has investment discretion shall be subject to, and is limited by, the investment guidelines issued to it by the Employer. It is understood that, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Employer, rather than the Trustee, shall be responsible for the overall diversification of Trust assets.
