FUNERAL LEAVE WITH PAY. An employee will be given approved leave with pay, not to exceed three (3) days per occasion as required by the circumstances, for the death of a person in his immediate family as defined in paragraph 15-3. Permission for longer absence with pay, under appropriate circumstances, may be given by the employee's immediate supervisor with the approval of Employee Relations. An employee will be given approved leave with pay, not to exceed one (1) day, for the funeral of an uncle, aunt, niece or nephew.
