Common use of FURTHER STUDY AND TRAINING Clause in Contracts

FURTHER STUDY AND TRAINING. A Leave of Absence Without Pay for a period of up to one (1) year may be granted for further formal training or study directly related to the performance of the Employee’s job responsibilities. In order to apply for this leave, the Employee must have completed five (5) years of employment in the Rocky River City School District. The Superintendent/designee retains in his sole discretion the right to (1.) determine if the formal training or study is directly related to the performance of the Employee’s job responsibilities, and (2.) determine whether the Leave of Absence Without Pay is granted.
