Women are evaluated as a threat to an organization because women may prioritize family issues to professional ones (Xxxxx, Odendaal & Xxxxxx, 2005). As a result, females who want to build a successful career either prefer to be childless, delegate domestic issues to paid services or choose professions which allow them to combine family and work (Xxxxx, 2000). Women are compelled to adopt organizational culture based is on masculinity, and expose behaviors associated with men, such as “competition driven” and “egoistic,” in order to advance in their careers (Xxxxx, Xxxxxxxx & Xxxxxx, 2005, Xxxxxxxx, 2013, Xxxxxxx, 2017).   • Independent Contractor Payment of Employment Taxes and Other Expenses Independent Contractor. For the purposes of this Section 4.4, "Contractor" shall be deemed to include not only Contractor, but also any agent or employee of Contractor. Contractor acknowledges and agrees that at all times, Contractor or any agent or employee of Contractor shall be deemed at all times to be an independent contractor and is wholly responsible for the manner in which it performs the services and work requested by City under this Agreement. City does not retain the right to control the means or the method by which Contractor performs work under this Agreement.   • How We Calculate Benefits Under These Rules When this plan is secondary, it may reduce its benefits so that the total benefits paid or provided by all plans are not more than the total allowable expenses. In determining the amount to be paid for any claim, the secondary plan will calculate the benefits it would have paid in the absence of other healthcare coverage and apply that calculated amount to any allowable expense under its plan that is unpaid by the primary plan. The secondary plan may then reduce its payment by the amount so that, when combined with the amount paid by the primary plan, the total benefits paid or provided by all plans for the claim do not exceed the total allowable expense for that claim. In addition, the secondary plan shall credit to its plan deductible any amounts it would have credited to its deductible in the absence of other healthcare coverage.

  • Entitlement to Other Sick Leave Each employee in the bargaining unit shall once a year be credited with a total of 100 days sick leave in addition to the sick leave provided under Section 13.4.1 of this Article. Each day of sick leave provided by this Section shall be compensated at the rate of fifty (50) percent of the employee’s regular salary. The paid sick leave provided for under this Section shall be in addition to any other paid leave provided for in this Article and shall be used after the exhaustion of the leaves provided in Sections 13.4. The leave in this Section shall not be accumulative.
