Gender Inclusive Housing. Lake Forest College’s Office of Residence Life is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive experience for all students. We offer a variety of gender-inclusive housing options to ensure that our residence halls are a supportive space for residents of all gender identities and gender expressions. The Office of Residence Life asks students to share their preferred name and pronouns on their housing contract. This information is shared with Resident Assistants, Residence Directors, and residence life senior staff to ensure students are being addressed by the name they prefer and their gender expression is being respected in the assignment process, meetings, and at events. Students can indicate their preference for gender inclusive housing on their housing contract and select roommates in the general room selection process. All students can specify the preferred gender of their roommate(s) in a multiple occupancy room to form roommate groups. Gender inclusive housing is available in most residence halls. Gender inclusive housing is not available on floors that are identified as single gender.

Gender Inclusive Housing a. Oklahoma City University offers Gender-Inclusive Housing (GIH) to support OCU’s ongoing commitment to develop environments that are welcoming and inclusive. GIH enhances the residential experience by allowing students to live in the same room and share common spaces regardless of assigned sex and/or gender expression. This allows our students to have free exchange of ideas and their ability to make their own decisions that extend beyond the classroom to all aspects of campus life, including within on-campus housing. GIH is optional, and students must expressly state their desire for a GIH assignment.
Gender Inclusive Housing. Applicants for double dorms have the option to select their roommate gender preference: • Same-gender male and same-gender female options allow residents to live with a roommate matching their own gender identity. • The mixed gender option allows residents to live with a roommate of any gender identity. Gender Inclusive Housing. Students are permitted to live with any other student regardless of biological sex, gender identity and/or expression, except on floors designated as single gender. On floors designated as single gender, students must identify as sharing the designated gender of that floor. Questions about single gender areas are welcomed and can be answered by the Office of Residential Life. Requests for specific arrangements under this policy should be made at least two weeks before the applicable housing lottery.

  • Singular Includes the Plural; Gender; Title Reference Whenever the singular number is used in this Contract and when required by the context, the same shall include the plural, and the use of any gender, be it masculine, feminine or neuter, shall include all of the genders, and the word “person” or “entity” shall include corporation, firm, partnership, or any other combination or association. The use of the title “Bidder”, “Vendor”, “Contractor” or “Consultant” within this contract or associated bid documents shall be deemed interchangeable and shall refer to the person or entity with whom the City of Sparks is contracting for the service or product referenced within this contract.

  • Owner Inclusion It is understood and agreed by all parties that “Owner/s” shall include the City of Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska and Xxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx County Public Building Commission. Whenever in the Contract documents, including the instructions to bidders, specifications, insurance requirements, bonds, and terms and conditions or any other documents which are a part of the Contract, a singular entity is referenced (i.e., “the City” or “the County” or “Building Commission”) it shall mean the “Owners” encompassing the City of Lincoln, Lancaster County and Xxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx County Building Commission.   • Captions and Gender The captions in this Agreement are for convenience only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of any term or provision hereof. The use in this Agreement of the masculine pronoun in reference to a party hereto shall be deemed to include the feminine or neuter, as the context may require.
