General Holidays During Annual Vacation. When a General Holiday falls or is observed during an employee's annual vacation period, an additional day of vacation shall be granted for each General Holiday in addition to the regular vacation time.

  • Holidays During Vacation If a paid holiday falls or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be granted an additional day's vacation with pay for each holiday in addition to his/her regular vacation time.

  • Holiday During Vacation If a holiday, named under Article 7 of this Agreement, falls within the vacation period of an employee, he shall be granted an additional day's pay in lieu of the holiday.

  • Illness During Vacation (The following clause is applicable to full-time employees only) Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to serious illness, which either commenced prior to or during the scheduled vacation period, the period of such illness shall be considered sick leave.   • Unbroken Vacation Except during the period of time referred to in Article 17.06, where operational requirements permit, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to grant to an Employee her request to enjoy her vacation entitlement in a single unbroken period of leave.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.
