General Leave of Absence Without Pay. 12.11.1 The District may, in its sole discretion, and upon the written request of the unit member and the recommendation of the Superintendent, grant a leave without pay for any reason satisfactory to the District. Arrangements for a substitute must be completed before the unit member may consider himself/herself excused.
