General Rules and Principles. I-1 General provisions: The Accounting Agreement forms an Annexure to the Contract of which it is an integral part. It sets out the main accounting rules and determines the specific rules and principles applicable to the Petroleum Costs accounting, as well as the accounting methods, rules and procedures with which the Contractor is required to comply. The technical, accounting, financial or legal reports, statements, declarations, documents, information and data must compulsorily be supplied to the Department in charge of Hydrocarbons. The terms used in the Accounting Agreement have the same meaning as is given to them in this Contract, unless the context clearly confers a different meaning on such terms. In the event of contradiction or discrepancy between the Accounting Agreement and the provisions of this Contract, the later shall prevail.
