Common use of General Salary Increase Clause in Contracts

General Salary Increase. 1. Effective with pay period closest to the ratification and approval of the contract, employees shall be provided a lump sum of seven hundred dollars ($700.00). 2. Effective with the start of the pay week commencing closest to July 1, 2008, employees shall be provided an across-the-board salary increase of three percent (3%). Salary schedules shall be increased accordingly. 3. Effective with the start of the pay week commencing closest to April 1, 2009, salary schedules shall be adjusted by dropping the first step and adding a new last step which is three percent (3%) higher than the previous step. Employees will remain on their current step and receive the new pay assigned to that step.
