Except where other wise indicated all electrical tests shall be carried out at rated frequency and with the supply voltage wave- form approximately sinusoidal. The manufacturer’s test equipment shall be of satisfactory quality and condition and where necessary shall be appropriately calibrated at the expense of the contractor by such other body as may be agreed. Where no tests are detailed for items of equipment a full program of tests shall be agreed with the Engineer. The Engineer reserves the right to call for such additional tests as may be necessary to prove compliance with the specification.

The Engineer reserves equipment will be subject to inspection in the right course of packing to call ensure that the surface finish is in accordance with the requirements of the Specification. The test procedures shall be performed by qualified and well-recognized testing laboratories such as STL accredited laboratories. The Contractor shall allow in his Tender for such additional the cost of carrying out all the inspection and testing requirements detailed within this section. These shall include, but not be restricted to, the following and any further tests as may be considered necessary by the Engineer to prove demonstrate the compliance of the Plant with the specificationSpecification.
