Common use of GENERIC DRUG PLAN Clause in Contracts

GENERIC DRUG PLAN. The Corporation will accept, on an exception basis, submission from enrolled members who present a physician authorized medical note indicating that the available generic drug cannot be prescribed for medical reason or that there is no other medically appropriate generic substitute available that can be prescribed by the physician. The Corporation will reimburse the employee for the difference in monies that they had to pay for the brand drug prescription through accounts payable and following submission of the doctor’s note and proof of prescription purchase to the Human Resources Department.
