Geotechnical and Soils Sample Clauses

Geotechnical and Soils. The EIR will address the potential geologic hazards of the proposed development based on a geotechnical report to be provided to DJP&A by the County. Mitigation measures will be developed to reduce identified geologic impacts to a less than significant level. Hazardous Materials Historically, the project area was used as agricultural land and for commercial purposes, with gas stations and other hazardous materials users in the area. Pursuant to information provided by County staff, a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) will be provided to DJP&A by the County to be utilized for the analysis. If impacts are identified, site-specific mitigation measures will be identified based upon recommendations in the Phase 1 ESA and consultation with oversight agencies as appropriate. This scope does not include preparation of a Phase II testing report; in the event one is recommended by the Phase I, it would be provided by the applicant or prepared by DJP&A on a time and materials basis upon your written authorization. Mitigation measures will be identified, as appropriate.
