Common use of Government Service Leave Clause in Contracts

Government Service Leave. A. Leaves of absence may be granted up to two (2) years to professional employees with tenure status in Xxxxxxxx who join as full-time participants in a government program. B. Compensation for such service shall be paid by the government. Any period so served as a professional employee shall be applied to the salary schedule set forth in this Agreement as if such period has been served by the professional employee in the Xxxxxxxx City School System.
