Grants of Parental Leave. A bargaining unit employee must be allowed to use up to 864 hours if working a 2,496- hour work year, 756 hours if working a 2,184-hour work year or 720 hours if working a 2,080- hour work year, of any combination of sick, annual, or compensatory leave and leave without pay during any twenty-four month period to care for: A. A newborn child of the employee, or B. A newly adopted child of the employee.
