Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading. The Sides will strengthen their dialogue on greenhouse gas emission trading policy in the framework of the Sino-German Working Group on Environment and Climate Change, as well as technical level cooperation, to learn from each other's experience, and to promote the development of carbon markets on both Sides, jointly making positive contributions to addressing global climate change. A particular focus of the exchange will be on the following measures to promote and strengthen the development of carbon markets: scope extension of the Emission Trading System (ETS), Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) rule, improved allocation mechanisms and auctioning, refinement of key building blocks (e.g. legislation, infrastructure), cap setting, alignment with 2030/2060 targets, strengthening of market functioning and price signal. Moreover, the Sides will strengthen exchanges on mitigation of non-CO2 Greenhouse Cases, including: • Exchange of experiences and good practices in monitoring, reporting and accounting and technological solutions for mitigation of non-CO2 GHG emissions • Research on policies and measures for non-CO2 GHG emission control and mitigation, including market-based measures to incentivize GHG emission reduction

  • Emissions The provisions cited above do not prohibit emissions above a specified level. Without information on engine usage and emission rates, it is not practicable to quantify the excess emissions. L. 94-163, 89 Stat. 871).

  • Solid Waste Solid Waste collection shall be pursuant to Town regulations.

  • Natural Gas 21.1 Subject to Article 21.2, the Indian domestic market shall have the first call on the utilisation of Natural Gas discovered and produced from the Contract Area. Accordingly, any proposal by the Contractor relating to Discovery and production of Natural Gas from the Contract Area shall be made in the context of the Government's policy for the utilisation of Natural Gas and shall take into account the objectives of the Government to develop its resources in the most efficient manner and to promote conservation measures. 21.2 The Contractor shall have the right to use Natural Gas produced from the Contract Area for the purpose of Petroleum Operations including reinjection for pressure maintenance in Oil Fields, gas lifting and captive power generation required for Petroleum Operations. 21.3 For the purpose of sales in the domestic market pursuant to this Article 21, the Contractor shall have freedom to market the Gas and sell its entitlement.

  • Public Safety The Permittee shall comply with the following provisions.

  • NOISE/WASTE The Tenant agrees not to commit waste on the premises, maintain, or permit to be maintained, a nuisance thereon, or use, or permit the premises to be used, in an unlawful manner. The Tenant further agrees to abide by any and all local, county, and State noise ordinances.
