Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading. The Sides will strengthen their dialogue on greenhouse gas emission trading policy in the framework of the Sino-German Working Group on Environment and Climate Change, as well as technical level cooperation, to learn from each other's experience, and to promote the development of carbon markets on both Sides, jointly making positive contributions to addressing global climate change. A particular focus of the exchange will be on the following measures to promote and strengthen the development of carbon markets: scope extension of the Emission Trading System (ETS), Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) rule, improved allocation mechanisms and auctioning, refinement of key building blocks (e.g. legislation, infrastructure), cap setting, alignment with 2030/2060 targets, strengthening of market functioning and price signal. Moreover, the Sides will strengthen exchanges on mitigation of non-CO2 Greenhouse Cases, including: • Exchange of experiences and good practices in monitoring, reporting and accounting and technological solutions for mitigation of non-CO2 GHG emissions • Research on policies and measures for non-CO2 GHG emission control and mitigation, including market-based measures to incentivize GHG emission reduction

The Airport will supply specially designed solid waste containers for depositing paper, bottles and cans, and general trash in the public areas of the terminal including Tenant public areas. The Airport will provide waste containers for public disposal of food waste and compostable serviceware in the vicinity of Food and Beverage leaseholds. Tenant’s Work. Tenants are required to collect the solid waste generated in back offices in containers designated for paper, bottles& cans, and general trash and deposit the content of each container in the designated bins at collection areas. All Food and Beverage Concessions are required to collect food waste and compostable serviceware in separate containers and deposit the contents in designated compostable materials bins at collection areas.

  • Solid Waste The Licensee shall have to make arrangements for disposal of solid waste, which shall be got removed from the premises on a daily basis to ensure perfect cleanliness as per Corporation of Chennai Norms. The Licensee shall have to make arrangements for the solid waste to be separated into glass, plastic and food waste and for the food waste to be treated in a shredder to be converted into a paste. The waste shall need to be expelled into a common dump or waste area provided/ indicated by CMRL. If solid waste is found disposed of on CMRL land or premises a penalty/fine of Rs.2000/- shall be imposed by CMRL for each occasion.

  • Natural Gas 21.1 Subject to Article 21.2, the Indian domestic market shall have the first call on the utilisation of Natural Gas discovered and produced from the Contract Area. Accordingly, any proposal by the Contractor relating to Discovery and production of Natural Gas from the Contract Area shall be made in the context of the Government's policy for the utilisation of Natural Gas and shall take into account the objectives of the Government to develop its resources in the most efficient manner and to promote conservation measures.

  • Electrical Safety Only UL approved items are permitted in Housing & Residence Life. Extension and multi-use cords must be heavy duty, single plug, and be UL approved. Altering or adapting electrical outlets and equipment and overloading circuits jeopardize safety and thus are not permitted.
