GRIEVANCE INITIATION (FORMAL). If the issue is not resolved at Step 1, or jointly referred to another administrative procedure for resolution, the grievant may, within ten (10) business days of receiving the response from the immediate supervisor, serve a grievance initiation form with the immediate supervisor [or another member of Management if the immediate supervisor is not available within the ten (10) day filing period], who will accept it on behalf of Management and immediately forward it to the next level manager above the immediate supervisor who is not in the same bargaining unit as the grievant.
