Grievance Procedure - Step One. 7:01 Any employee having a problem with regard to his relationship with The Company must discuss any such problem with his Supervisor prior to initiating a written grievance. The Supervisor will inform the employee of his right to have his Xxxxxxx present during such meeting. The Human Resources Manager shall give his/her decision in writing within three (3) working days or at a time mutually agreed upon. If the matter is not satisfactorily settled at this level, then it may be submitted in accordance writing within three (3) days to the Plant Manager for disposition. STEP THREE -
7:04 The Plant Manager shall hold a meeting with Clause 24.4 the Union President, Chief Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxxx and/or grievor within twenty four (204) working days, or at a mutually agreeable time for presentation of the grievance. The Plant Manager shall state his decision in writing to the local Union President within three (3) working days of the occurrence giving rise such meeting, or at a mutually agreed upon time.
7:05 The Company may bring forward at any meeting held with a Grievance Committee any complaint or grievance with respect to the grievance be delivered by conduct of The Union, its Officers, Committee person or the employee(s) employees generally and if such complaints or grievances are not settled to the appropriate Department Head with a copy to the Union and the appropriate Staff Relations Officer in Human Resources. The Department Head or her/his designate upon receipt mutual satisfaction of the conferring parties, may be referred to arbitration in the manner of a grievance shall consult with her/his Xxxx/Director or her/his designate and of an employee. This does not preclude the Staff Relations Officer prior to replying to the grievance. Management from exercising its management rights in its normal manner.
7:06 The Department Head or her/his designate Union shall have ten (10) working days from the date right to initiate grievances of receipt of a general policy nature under the second stage above.
7:07 Should the Company fail to answer a grievance to reply in writing to the employee(s) with a copy to the Union and the Staff Relations Officer. 7:08 Where a grievance is not settled under the preceding sections of this Article, including the question of whether or not a matter is arbitrable, or where an allegation is made that this Agreement has been violated, either of the reply at Step One be delivered parties may notify the other party in writing, within thirty (30) days, of its desire to submit the grievance or allegation to a single Arbitrator for disposition.

The Vice-President (Administration) or her/his designate shall have ten (10) working days from the date of the meeting in which to reply in writing to the employee(s) with a copy to the Union and the Staff Relations Officer. If the reply provided at Step Three does not resolve the grievance and the Union wishes to proceed with the grievance, then within ten (10) working days of the Step Three reply the grievance shall be referred to arbitration in accordance make any decision inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement, nor to alter, modify or amend any part of this agreement.
7:12 The decision of the Arbitrator shall be final and binding upon both parties.
7:13 The Company and The Union agree to meet as outlined in Clause 24.12necessary to discuss problem of a general nature. There shall be six (6) members on the committee with equal representation from both Company and Union.
