Grievance Reduced to Writing. Supervisory Level. If no settlement is reached in Step 1, the employee, if he/she considers the grievance to be valid, will reduce to writing a statement of the grievance which will contain the following: a) the facts upon which the grievance is based; b) a reference to the articles and sections of the Agreement alleged to have been violated; and c) the remedy sought. The employee, within ten (10) work days following the Step 1 discussion, will submit the written grievance to the immediate supervisor for reconsideration, with copies to the Director of Employee Relations.
