Common use of Grievances in General Clause in Contracts

Grievances in General. An employee, individually or in representation of a group of employees, may complain to the City management through the grievance procedure in this chapter regarding any matter relating to that employee's wages, hours, or conditions of employment. A grievance may be either formal or informal. An informal grievance is a prerequisite to filing a formal grievance.
