Common use of Group or Policy Grievances Clause in Contracts

Group or Policy Grievances. Where a dispute involving a question of general application or interpretation occurs, or where a group of two (2) or more employees or the Union has a grievance, Step 1 of this Article may be bypassed and such grievance submitted at Step 2 within fourteen (14) days of the event upon which it is based. In the case of Group Grievances, the Union may have a maximum of two (2) grievors attend at any meeting(s) or hearing(s) that are held in conjunction with such grievances.
