Common use of Group, Unit or Team Leader Clause in Contracts

Group, Unit or Team Leader. Whenever a nurse is assigned additional responsibility to direct, supervise or oversee work of nurses, and/or be assigned overall responsibility for patient care on the unit, xxxx, or area, for a tour of duty, the nurse shall be paid a premium of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) per hour in addition to the nurse’s regular salary and applicable premium allowance.

Effective April 1, 2012 one dollar and forty-five cents ($1.45) in addition to the nurse’s regular salary and applicable premium allowance. Effective April 1, 2013 one dollar and sixty-five cents ($1.65) in addition to the nurse’s regular salary and applicable premium allowance.
