Health Insurance for Widows/Widowers of Active and Retired Employees. The spouse of any active duty or retired member who dies for any reason shall receive the health care that was provided by the City to said active duty or retired member prior to his/her death, until the spouse remarries, becomes eligible for comparable health care elsewhere, or becomes Medicare-eligible or reaches the age of Medicare-eligibility.
