HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE. 16.1 BUYER shall comply with all laws, regulations, and requirements pertaining to health, safety, and environmental protection, fire, and security regulations applicable to the COMPANY’s premise during the removal of the ASSET.
HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE. (A) With the goal of achieving safe and reliable operations in compliance with applicable HSE laws, rules and regulations (including avoiding significant and unintended impact on the safety or health of people, on property, or on the environment), Unit Operator and IPT Technical Operator shall meet and no later than six (6) months following the date of execution of this Agreement establish and implement an HSE plan in a manner consistent with standards and procedures generally followed in the international petroleum industry under similar circumstances, harmonizing the HSE policies of each of them, and using (unless they otherwise agree) the most stringent standards established by either of their policies. Each Operator shall thereafter design and operate Unit Facilities consistent with the HSE plan. In addition, each Operator shall conform with locally applicable HSE laws, rules and regulations and other HSE-related statutory requirements that may apply.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE. SUPPLIER shall comply with, and shall cause its employees and sub-supplier’s to comply with all applicable local, municipal, territorial, provincial and federal laws, orders and regulations pertaining to health, safety and the environment and abide by all safety and security rules and regulations in force in executing the PRICE AGREEMENT. SUPPLIER’s personnel required under the PRICE AGREEMENT to provide services at NIPPON’s premises shall comply with NIPPON’s HSE procedures/practices including possession of valid safety passport, medical certificate and the use of personal protective equipment.
HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE. All hazardous materials shall be properly packaged and labeled. One copy of the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and/or other applicable certificates shall be enclosed in a water-proof envelope attached to the outside of the package and conspicuously identified, and one copy sent directly to the Contract Coordinator named on the face of this Purchase Order. An emergency telephone number shall be provided on the MSDS, as required by law. SELLER shall select only carriers that meet all applicable current rules and regulations regarding the safe handling and transportation of hazardous goods in the country of origin, including but not limited to The Hazardous Materials Transportation Act (49 U.S.C. 1801 et seq.) and the regulations contained in Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Parts 100-178 (including exemptions and approvals issued hereunder) when goods are shipped from the U.S.A. SELLER also agrees to hold PURCHASER harmless from any claims, suits, or cause of action in connection with any hazardous or otherwise dangerous materials issue arising out of the purchase of the goods from SELLER by PURCHASER.
