High Definition Analog Outputs. 3.2.1 Subject to the requirement of Section 3.4, a Licensed Products shall not pass, or direct to be passed, Decrypted SVR Data to a High Definition Analog Output, unless both requirements set forth in (i) and (ii) are fulfilled: (i) Such Licensed Products may pass, or direct to be passed, such Decrypted SVR Data to a High Definition Analog Output as a Constrained Image. (ii) Such Licensed Products may pass, or direct to be passed, Decrypted SVR Data to a High Definition Analog Output, if they generate copy control signals using CGMS-A, in accordance with the information provided in such Decrypted SVR Data. 3.2.2 Subject to the requirement of Section 3.4, and notwithstanding Section 3.2.1 above, such Licensed Products incorporated into Computer Products may pass, or direct to be passed, Decrypted SVR Data to XGA, SXGA and UXGA or similar computer video outputs that were widely implemented as of May 1, 2001 (but not to such typical consumer electronics outputs as NTSC, PAL, SECAM, SCART, YUV, S-Video and consumer RGB, whether or not such outputs are found on any Computer Product) as a Constrained Image.

High Definition Analog Outputs. Licensed Products with any High Definition Analog Outputs shall only output Controlled Content or pass Controlled Content to High Definition Analog Outputs subject to the following provisions: i. Licensed Products shall be able to constrain, when required by the CIT CCI bit, the resolution of content that is High Definition to be output through a connection capable of transmitting content in High Definition Analog Form, to a Constrained Image. ii. Licensed Products shall include one or more approved Digital Outputs as specified in Section 2.4 below. iii. Licensed Products shall also, on any High Definition Analog Outputs, generate CGMS-A signals in response to such trigger bits in Controlled Content, and pass through CGMS-A signaling; but shall not be required to respect CGMS-A as an input to its own functions unless so required by appropriate legislation or regulation.
High Definition Analog Outputs. Host Devices with any High Definition Analog Outputs shall only output content received through the Service or pass content received through the Service as permitted by this section 2.3. 2.3.1 Host Device shall be able to constrain, when required by the CIT CCI bit, the resolution of content that is High Definition to be output through a connection capable of transmitting content in High Definition Analog Form, to a Constrained Image. 2.3.2 Host Device shall include one or more approved Digital Outputs as specified in Section 2.4 below. 2.3.3 All Host Devices shall generate and propagate CGMS-A signals for all HD analog outputs; but shall not be required to respect the CGMS-A trigger unless required by appropriate legislation or regulation.
