Common use of HOLIDAYS - QUALIFYING Clause in Contracts

HOLIDAYS - QUALIFYING. A regular employee shall not receive holiday pay if said employee fails to report for scheduled work on the holiday or fails to report for scheduled work on the day immediately preceding and the day immediately following the holiday, unless such absence is permitted or excused by the Company (i.e., regularly scheduled day off, or the day paid under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement).
