Homecare Workers (HCW). All full-time, part-time, hourly, and live-in publicly funded Homecare Workers employed through the Employer, who are Client- Employed Providers (CEPs), Spousal Pay Providers, State Plan Personal Care Providers for seniors and people with disabilities, and providers in the Oregon Project Independence (OPI) Program, and for whom compensation is paid by Department of Human Services (DHS) or other public agency that receives money from DHS. All other Homecare Workers, including those employed by other employers, and supervisors are excluded.

  • Workers’ Compensation The Contractor acknowledges the State of California requires every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code. If Contractor has employees, a copy of the certificate evidencing such insurance, a letter of self-insurance, or a copy of the Certificate of Consent to Self-Insure shall be provided to County prior to commencement of work.
