Common use of Hours of Work and Meal Period Clause in Contracts

Hours of Work and Meal Period. Except as otherwise provided herein eight hours shall constitute a day's work. All employees coming under the provisions of this collective agreement, except as provided for in Rule shall be paid on the hourly basis. The respective Regional Vice-president and the proper District Company Officer may mutually agree to implement working hours and rest days which may vary from the terms of Rule and Rule of this Agreement.
