How Much Annual Leave are Employees Entitled To. A full-time employee is entitled to 4 weeks or 20 days annual leave for each 12 months of service. Part-time employees are entitled to annual leave on a pro-rata basis based upon the proportion of the number of ordinary hours worked each week to 37.5hrs. Casual employees do not receive annual leave entitlements. An employee proceeding on annual leave will receive a loading of 17.5% on annual leave pay. Leave loading is not payable on any other type of leave taken in conjunction with annual leave (i.e. TOIL). Annual leave accrues on a continuous basis according to the number of hours worked.
