Humanitarian Clause. Should an employee covered by this Agreement become physically or mentally handicapped to the extent that the employee cannot perform his/her regular job, the City will make every reasonable effort to place the employee in a position within City employment that the employee is physically and mentally able to perform, subject to the City's legal or contractual obligations to other City employees.
