Humanitarian Clause. Should an employee covered by this Agreement become physically or mentally handicapped to the extent he/she cannot perform his/her regular job, Management will make every effort to place the employee in a position that he/she is physically and mentally able to perform. During the life of this agreement, the parties agree to discuss and attempt to arrive at an agreement for a comprehensive program to assist management’s efforts to place the employee in a position that he/she is physically and mentally able to perform.
