Execution of requests 1. In order to comply with a request for assistance, the requested authority shall proceed, within the limits of its competence and available resources, as though it were acting on its own account or at the request of other authorities of that same Party, by supplying information already possessed, by carrying out appropriate enquiries or by arranging for them to be carried out. This provision shall also apply to the administrative department to which the request has been addressed by the requested authority when the latter cannot act on its own.
Form and substance of requests for assistance 1. Requests pursuant to this Protocol shall be made in writing. They shall be accompanied by the documents necessary to enable compliance with the request. When required because of the urgency of the situation, oral requests may be accepted, but must be confirmed in writing immediately.
Designation of Representative The Director of Public Works or the Director’s authorized representative is hereby designated as the City’s representative with respect to the work to be performed under this Agreement. Said representative shall have complete authority to transmit instructions, receive information, and interpret and define the City’s policies and decisions with respect to the services of the Consultant.
Selection of Representatives a) Each central party and the Crown shall select its own representatives to the Committee.
Notification of Recall Notification of recall from layoff shall be sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, deliverable to addressee only, to the employee's last known address. The notice shall give the employee a minimum of ten (10) calendar days within which to respond after the notice of recall has been mailed. Employees who decline recall or who, in the absence of extenuating circumstances, fail to respond within the time set for return to work, shall be presumed to have resigned and their name shall be removed from the seniority and preferred eligibility list.
Notification of Return For absences longer than one day, each faculty member shall make every effort to keep the appropriate supervisor advised of his/her condition, and provide an estimate of their expected return.

A replacement product will not be provided if the Covered Product is damaged during shipping and it is determined that no valid claim existed prior to shipping.

BUY AMERICA REQUIREMENT (Applies only to Federally Funded Highway and Transit Projects) With respect to products purchased by Customer for use in federally funded highway projects, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such projects, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 23 U.S.C. Section 313, 23 C.F.R. Section 635.410, as amended, and the Steel and Iron Preference provisions of Texas Transportation Code Section 223.045, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs. With respect to products purchased by Customer for use in federally funded transit projects, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such projects, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 49 U.S.C. Section 5323(j)(1), 49 C.F.R. Sections 661.6 or 661.12, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs.
RESPONDING TO REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION To the extent authorized by the Participating Consumer(s) and to the extent such individual permission is required by law, the Competitive Supplier shall, during normal business hours (as set forth above), respond promptly and without charge therefore to reasonable requests of the Town for information or explanation regarding the matters covered by this ESA and the supply of electricity to Participating Consumers. Competitive Supplier agrees to designate a service representative or representatives (the “Service Contacts”) who shall be available for these purposes, and shall identify the office address and telephone number of such representative(s). Whenever necessary to comply with this Article 5.3, the Service Contacts shall call upon other employees or agents of the Competitive Supplier to obtain such information or explanation as may be reasonably requested. Nothing in this Article 5.3 shall be interpreted as limiting the obligation of the Competitive Supplier to respond to complaints or inquiries from Participating Consumers, or to comply with any regulation of the Department or AG regarding customer service.
