Illness in the employee's family. a. Employees may use sick leave upon the approval of the local Superintendent for illness in the employee's immediate family. "Immediate family" shall be interpreted as husband, wife, child, sister, brother, or any other member of the family unit living in the same household no matter what degree of relationship. b. Three (3) days sick leave will be granted to the employee for illness of parents, in-laws or children living outside the household on approval of the Superintendent.
