Common use of Imminent Death Clause in Contracts

Imminent Death. The Employer shall, upon the request of the Employee, grant compassionate leave to Employees where death appears imminent of family members covered by this Article. Such leave, together with compassionate leave granted under Articles No. 23.02 and 23.03, shall not exceed the days specified in Articles No. 23.02 and 23.03. A doctor’s certificate may be required for the granting of such leave. Use of this Article “imminent” shall be used only once per family member.
