IN-DISTRICT. An employee whose assignment requires travel between schools or travel within the District on school business will either have a school vehicle assigned on a regular basis or will be compensated on a per mile basis at the maximum allowable mileage rate recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a deductible business expense.
