In-Firm Conferences and Memoranda. Unless otherwise approved by the Citizens Legal Management Team, billing for in-firm conferences and memoranda between attorneys or legal professionals of the same law firm will not be honored by Citizens. Approved billing for such in-firm conferences will be authorized only when the specific need arises in order to provide effective representation due to the unique circumstances of an assignment.

In-Firm Conferences and Memoranda. The Firm should not bill for intra-firm conferences, unless an attorney assigned to the matter is seeking advice or counsel on substantive or procedural aspects of the case that result in a more effective defense. Reasonable and necessary conference time will be billable by one timekeeper only, provided that sufficient detail concerning the subject of the conference is set forth under the invoice line entry description to demonstrate the relevance and value of the conference. Unless otherwise approved by Citizens, billing for in-firm memorandum will not be honored by Citizens. Approved billing for such in-firm memorandum will be authorized only when the specific need arises in order to provide effective representation due to the unique circumstances of an assignment. Intra-office communications or memorandum with a purpose of assigning tasks, summarizing the file, or similar clerical/administrative functions should be considered firm overhead. Citizens will not honor billing for this type of intra-office conference or memorandum.

If granted, the attendance at the conference will be considered leave with pay, and a follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.

  • Labor Management Conferences The Union and the Employer mutually agree that in the interest of efficient management and harmonious employee relations, meetings shall be held between Union and Employer representatives when appropriate. Such meetings shall be scheduled within one week of either party submitting an agenda to the other, or at a time mutually agreed upon by the parties, and shall be limited to:

  • Public Access to Nonprofit Records and Meetings If Contractor receives a cumulative total per year of at least $250,000 in City funds or City-administered funds and is a non-profit organization as defined in Chapter 12L of the San Francisco Administrative Code, Contractor must comply with the City’s Public Access to Nonprofit Records and Meetings requirements, as set forth in Chapter 12L of the San Francisco Administrative Code, including the remedies provided therein.

  • Access to Financial Information Buyer’s representatives shall have access to, and Seller and its Affiliates shall cooperate with Buyer and furnish upon request, all financial and other information relating to the Hotel’s operations to the extent necessary to enable Buyer’s representatives to prepare audited financial statements in conformity with Regulation S-X of the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) and other applicable rules and regulations of the SEC and to enable them to prepare a registration statement, report or disclosure statement for filing with the SEC on behalf of Buyer or its Affiliates, whether before or after Closing and regardless of whether such information is included in the Records to be transferred to Buyer hereunder. Seller shall also provide to Buyer’s representative a signed representation letter in form and substance reasonably acceptable to Seller sufficient to enable an independent public accountant to render an opinion on the financial statements related to the Hotel. Buyer will reimburse Seller for costs reasonably incurred by Seller to comply with the requirements of the preceding sentence to the extent that Seller is required to incur costs not in the ordinary course of business for third parties to provide such representation letters. The provisions of this Section shall survive Closing or termination of this Contract.

  • Pre-Job Conferences a) The Employer will notify the Union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference will be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in this Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties.
