Conference Time. When elementary or secondary teachers work during scheduled conference times, they shall receive a non-duty compensatory day for every 7 hours and 10 minutes of work in accordance with the approved calendar. All teachers are required to participate in parent conferences. Absences from conferences will be allowed under the conditions in Article 10 or with prior approval of the building principal. Conferences will be held in blocks of time after the student day. Two (2) compensatory days will be scheduled per semester in exchange for up to three (3) evenings of scheduled conference times equaling no more than fourteen (14) hours and twenty (20) minutes total. Half (50%) of that time may be utilized for professional development activity by individuals not needed for conference interactions withparents.
Conference Time. The amount of time scheduled for the November parent/teacher conferences will be the same at all school buildings, and will not exceed a total of eight and one-half hours (8 1/2) hours, unless altered by a mutual agreement of the Board and Association.
Conference Time. A non-instructional period of time set aside for Resource Specialist Program (RSP), Language and Speech Specialist (LSS), and Adapted Physical Education (APE) teachers to provide direct and indirect services and support associated with the assignment.
Conference Time. An elementary Specialist, including nurses, shall receive no less than one hundred fifty (150) minutes per week of planning/conference time. This amount includes any time the teacher spends outside the classroom due to presence of a specialist teacher.

The teacher shall post available times of not less than thirty (30) minutes per day, or every other day on the block schedule, for conferences during the teacher’s unscheduled time within the teaching day. These conference times shall be scheduled at a time and at a location mutually acceptable to the teacher and the teacher’s supervisor.

Conference Time. 4.1 Prior to commencement of formal collective bargaining, the Parties shall mutually agree to the terms of payment for time spent in collective bargaining by employees who are authorized Union representatives on the Union's bargaining team, the number of such representatives who shall be paid, the payment of joint Union-Company conference facilities utilized for collective bargaining and other matters related to collective bargaining. The Company shall excuse a maximum of three (3) employees for the purpose of collective bargaining.
Conference Time. A total of seventy-two (72) hours relief from duty in any one fiscal year may be used for the purpose of attendance at labor relations conferences and for Association business. When an employee is off duty, time off will be earned, hour for hour, for attendance at City/Association meetings. These hours are limited to and in conjunction with the above seventy-two (72) hours. The Association must give notice of intent to attend a labor relations conference at least one (1) month in advance of the conference, and must give notice of intent to conduct City/Association business prior to the business. Meet and Confer will not be considered in any of the above calculations. Department approval of attendance at the conference or Association business will be based on staffing requirements of the Department. At the end of the calendar year a maximum of thirty-six (36) hours of the seventy-two (72) hours may be carried over to the following year. If attendance at a labor relations conference is granted, then denied, the City shall reimburse the Association for any cancellation costs incurred. Approval or disapproval will occur within five (5) working days of request.
Conference Time. Students shall be dismissed from school on an equivalent of two (2) days for the purpose of conducting parent-teacher conferences. The building principal and staff shall cooperatively plan parent-teacher conferences that align with the adopted school calendar. These conferences shall include the opportunity for parents to meet with teachers in the evening.
Conference Time. Those employees who are scheduled to work on-site during a single night parent-teacher conference will not be required to report to work on the next normal work day and will suffer no loss of pay. Employees assigned to work during a multiple night parent-teacher conference will not be required to report to work on the next normal work day following conclusion of the conference and will suffer no loss of pay.
