Incidental and Peripheral Duties. ‌ 3.1 The Employer may direct an Employee to carry out duties, which are reasonable and within the limits of the Employee’s skill, competence and training. 3.2 The Employer may direct an Employee to carry out any duty and use tools and equipment as may be required, provided that the Employee has been properly trained in the use of such tools and equipment (where relevant). 3.3 Any direction by the Employer under this provision will be consistent with the Employer’s obligation to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
