Common use of Increase for Filling In Clause in Contracts

Increase for Filling In. If an employee assumes a higher position for more than six (6) weeks, the employee shall receive the differential in starting salaries of the two positions retroactive to the first day of fill-in. If an employee fills in for less than six (6) weeks, additional pay may be given in the discretion of the Project Director. Fill- in scheduling shall not be done in such a way as to avoid the payment outlined above.
